Our farm is 150 acres of wooded rolling hills in the heart of the Ozarks.
We have been here in Competition Missouri for over 15 years and still love the farm life.
We are the first Premier licensed sheep dairy in Missouri.
Making value-added soaps,lotions and Smudge[fudge].We used to make Blue Ribbon Cheese
until the cat attacks.
Everything on the farm is done by the two of us so even though it can be challenging
at times, but we still can't think of anything else we would rather do.
We love having visitors, so if you would like to stop in to see the farm, ask questions
or you think you would like to try your hand at chores just give us a call.
Everyone is more than welcome and we'll have samples of our SMUDGE so that you can taste
how wonderful sheep's milk really is.

Did you know that Sheep Milk has more vitamins and
minerals than Goat or Cow Milk !!
Did you know that if you are Lactose Intolerant than
you probably will be able to have Sheep Milk products!
Did You Know that besides great tasting Cheese you can
make Ice Cream, Yogurt,Smudge (check out our products),
Lotions,Soaps and you can drink this great Milk.
Sheep Milk tastes very rich as it has a high butterfat content
and it is slightly sweet.Sheep Milk always tastes good as
Sheep do not eat all those strange weeds that a goat eats.
Sheep eat grass,hay and some grain like a cow does so the
milk is always Pure.
We here at Stoney Acres were selling the milk
for $7.00 a gallon.Now you may not know this but this
milk can be frozen for months at a time which means
if you have small amounts of milk and don't know what
to do with the Milk so it will not spoil You Freeze It.
We use 1 gallon freezer bags putting 1/2 gallon in it to sell.
Now there is No spoilage and people do not have to
worry about spilling it .
The best Sheep Milking breed is the EAST FRIESIAN as they
are the Holstein of the DAIRY Sheep.
The Dairy Sheep can produce 1 quart of milk 2x a day.
It does not sound like alot but because this milk has more
solids in it you can get more product out of the milk.

WELL FINALLY !! We went to Lebanon friday morning late so when it
came time for lunch
we happened to be over by Wrinks Market that is now
a Cowboy Museum of sorts and
across the way there is now an Italian Restaurant.
THIS Place is Great !! IT IS CALLED NAPOLI'S
If you are tired of the same old thing to eat and want to slow it down
and enjoy food this is the place to go
for 2011 !!! They have lunch specials and are
open 11:00am--9:00pm except Mondays they are closed.
I will say the service is super,super good and friendly,
the food portions are large not measured
and they even serve Hot FRESH Bread with your meal.
Believe me when I say You Will Go Again !!

We have found another great place to enjoy food !!
It is in HARTVILLE,MO.,
on HWY 5 across from the courthouse bldg.
It is called LOLLIPOP DINER OPEN 6-9
AND IT IS ANOTHER GREAT FOOD PLACE.
It is 1950's style inside with oldies playing thru the speakers.
The food is aplenty and it is good home cooking.
So if you are looking for another
great food eating place take the short drive to
HARTVILLE and visit LOLLIPOP DINER !!

younsters to go and enjoy.

corn maze,hay fort,hay rides and

Have you brush hogged your pastures yet?
There is a reason to do it you know.
A pasture is like your yard in that by cutting it,
the darn thing will grow as your yard keeps doing,
but if you let the weeds take over and do not cut
it than there is no food for the animals,
just weeds.It may seem like a waste of
time but in the end the weight gain
on your animals will be a reward!!
